Off to vegstock us girls go… not sure what to expect, as this is the first time they have had this event! Of course, because this was an alcohol drinking event, it was 19 years of age and up, so no little ones were there!
We were greeted with the friendly vegfest gang at the front entrance.
The stock was really decent as well. My daughter and future daughter-in-law do not drink, so my friend and I had to try all the beer and wine! I definitely have to say the wine from Creekside Estate Winery was my favorite! Of course when you have these two below on deck, everything is a blast and makes everything taste better!
The venue was small and quaint with a large area for the bands to play and people to sit on the grass with blankets, as well as options to sit at table with chairs. It was perfect weather, not to hot and a nice breeze flowing through.
After eating and drinking for a few hours, we decided to get some dessert. I love vegan icecream or vegan cheesecake… yummy!!! We thought we would try Sweetteeth for our final dessert. The girls all got the cookies and creme, but the strawberry was calling me!
We stopped by in the afternoon around 3 o’clock and left at 5:30. I needed a nap after trying all the food and drink haha! All around it was a great time. I love supporting vegan businesses because I know they are not going to support the cruel and harsh meat industry! Lets continue to support local vegans as much as we can.
Make sure you mark your calendars for November 11, 2017, Vegfest, London Ontario.
If you stopped by let us know you enjoyed this and thanks for continuing to support local vegan businesses!
