Mix liquid smoke, liquid aminos or braggs soy, maple syrup, oil, smoked paprika, cumin and nutritional yeast with a small whisk or fork.
Cut up strips of rice paper! Note, use really sharp scissors and the square rice paper is the best for making strips.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line pan with parchment paper or use a silpat mat.
Because the rice paper is thin, you have to put 2 strips together. What I found was easiest is put them together and dip them quickly in a bowl a warm water and put on the mat or paper.
Then brush both sides with the mixed liquids and spices quickly.
Cook 400 degrees for about 5 to 8 minutes. I kept a close eye on them!
If you are just using the vegan rice paper bacon for bacon bits, you don’t have to cut the rice paper, just put 1 large sheet on top of the other and when its cooked crumble it up! Of course we made Bacon, lettuce tomato sandwiches yummy!
