Mix liquid smoke, liquid aminos (or soy), maple syrup, oil, smoked paprika, cumin, and nutritional yeast with a small whisk or fork
Slice the ends of the carrots off and using a peeler, peel slices in the shape of bacon.
Pour the sauce over the carrot slices and let marinate for about 20 minutes or overnight if your not in a hurry!
Voila, if you have a great nonstick pan put them in the frying pan and turn them constantly for about 5 to 10 minutes. These turn out more like a soft bacon. If you want them crunchy put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes but keep a real close eye on them!
The carrot bacon is awesome on BLTs (bacon, lettuce, tomato) sandwiches!
